This book takes place in Oklahoma. The kids go to a 4A school. They describe their town as being small but i don't know how it can be small when its 4A.
Hampton and Blaine met at a get together to honor a past football player that went to their high school. They have been best friends ever since.

It seems like a lot of movies and books say they are set in small towns, but they are so much bigger than the places where we live. I guess you don't know what a small town is unless you live in Iowa.
