This was a very good book. I would definately recommend it to people that like sports books, and even people that don't. I actually enjoyed this book which was a surprise because i hate reading.

If i could change one part of the book it would be that Hampton was not a red head. I'm not a big fan of red heads (besides Tristan Miller).

I'm at a point where Hampton must choose over the girl he likes, the ugly girl that nobody likes, or the hottest girl in the school, Misty. He doesn't even know Misty, but his friend Blaine is going to try to hook him up with her.

Three questions i would like to have answered by the end of the book:

Does he go with the ugly girl or Misty?

Will Blaine injure his knee worse?

Will Hampton go to college to play football?

This book takes place in Oklahoma. The kids go to a 4A school. They describe their town as being small but i don't know how it can be small when its 4A.

Hampton and Blaine met at a get together to honor a past football player that went to their high school. They have been best friends ever since.

Give a physical description as well as a description of each character's personality. Does the author use a direct or indirect method of revealing the character?

Blaine- Blaine is the running back. He doesn't like when people are good sports to the other team. He hurt his knee last year but he won't let anyone know about it, even though the can clearly see it hurts him. He is one of the best players in the state and plans to go to Oklahoma State with Hampton.

Hampton- Hampton is the main character. He is the middle linebacker and the best player on the defense. His father left him when he was a boy so now he just lives with his mother. His mother is with a different guy every week. They don't really describe much of him, but they do say he is a red head.

Hello. I am blogging over the book Knights Of The Hill Country by Tim Tharp. I chose this book because it's about football and i like football. So far it is a pretty interesting book.
